Peregrine Private Investigations was founded to provide individuals, businesses, and attorneys with trusted investigative services grounded in professionalism and integrity. Owner and lead investigator, Mark Hagerman, built his career in law enforcement and the military—fields where accuracy, accountability, and discretion mean everything.

After retiring from the Michigan State Police, Mark launched Peregrine Private Investigations to continue serving the community, helping people uncover the truth and protect their interests.

Law Enforcement Background

• Retired Michigan State Police Trooper with decades of investigative experience
• Conducted criminal investigations from dog bits, traffic crashes, to homicide
• Skilled in surveillance, crime scene examination, forensic interviewing, interviewing/interrogations and evidence collection
• City of Fairfax Police Master Police Officer (1 1/2 years)

Military Service

• Over 9 years active duty with the U.S. Army Criminal Investigations Command (CID)
• Served as a Special Agent providing protection services for the Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
• Supported trial defense investigations within the military system
